Bikes are getting crazy expensive

With bike prices on the exponential rise, now makes more sense than ever to invest in a high quality carbon repair for your bike over replacing it. during my time as a bicycle mechanic I have seen come pretty ludicrous price tags for bikes. I am not in any way saying that they were not very detail oriented builds with curated component choices but I still have a hard time swallowing the thought of laying down my credit card for a five figure bike that will depreciate before the payment has even finished processing.
